Parishioners Respond to Prattville Tornado

Volunteers from three Alabama Episcopal Churches spent the day in Prattville, Feb. 28, supporting recovery efforts following the devastating tornado that swept through the community the previous week.

Diocesan Convention Ends

Clergy and lay delegates from across our diocese gathered at the Sheraton Civic Center in Birmingham February 21-23 for our 177th Annual Diocesan Convention, hosted by St. Stephen's in Birmingham.  The theme of this the 177 annual convention was "Tending the Garden: Our Stewardship of Creation."  Click here for details

Medical Team Completes Successful Mission

After a successful week-long mission in Haiti, Alabama's seven-member medical team returned home to Alabama, Feb. 9. 

The team, consisting of members of Episcopal Churches from across the diocese, worked side-by-side with their Haitian counterparts to provide much needed medical care to people who would otherwise be unable to afford the cost of a doctor's visit.
