To the Diocese of Alabama

Dear Friends in Christ:

I am sad to tell you that Bishop Miller died late last night (June 29). He died peacefully with Peggy and his daughters beside him.

Bob's condition had worsened in the past several days, and he was returned to cardiac intensive care where he died.

I ask your prayers for our brother, Bob and his faithful life of service to our Lord Jesus Christ and to this diocese, and for Peggy, Vivian, and Margaret

Burial Services will be held at the Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham on Friday, July 3, at 11:00 am.

May he with all the saints now enter into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light.

The Rt. Rev. Henry N. Parsley, Jr.
