Recovery Ministries

The Mission of the Department of Recovery Ministries is to educate clergy and laity about the disease of addiction and family dysfunction’s associated with it and to provide recovery and spiritual guidance for those recovering, including affected family members, with emphasis on the renewal of our faith in Christ Jesus our Lord.                                                                                                                               

On – Going Ministries

 

  • Annual Recovery & Spirituality Retreat each October, open to all persons.

 

  • 12 Step Christian Education Materials educational resource material consisting of speakers, special group programs, videotapes and 12 step materials for the Sunday School classroom.

 

  • Recovery Sunday Curriculum diocesan convention past a resolution setting aside the second Sunday in November as Recovery Sunday.  Readings, hymns and Sunday School materials are available through the diocesan office.

 

  • Networking and Referrals if you are in need of intervention, support group and/or treatment facility information the department is prepared to assist you.
